These are the first questions that most people ask after they've picked their vacation destination. And when you’re coming to Maui, there is no right or wrong answers.  Maui has something for everyone, and your lodging choice might depend on what you plan to do when you’re here.  If you want to snorkel or dive every morning, consider staying on the South Shore.  If you want to hike, Upcountry will have the most appeal.  If you coming for windsurfing, surfing or kite surfing, then the North Shore is the choice.  What's right for your vacation depends on several factors... budget, desired amenities, preferred location, size of group (is it just you, or are you bringing your family of 15?) Although we can present you with some ideas in each of these categories, it's usually best to have a chat with someone that has personal experience with each property; visits them often; gets feedback from other clients, and can help you compare the pros and cons of different ideas.
