Property Location:   Sugar Beach Resort sits directly on the edge of Sugar Beach!  This is the north end of Kihei, directly on the south side of the central valley.

Beach Quality:  Excellent - see photos below.   You can enjoy 3.5 miles of sand at your doorstep. Sugar Beach stretches from the north end of Kihei, all the way to the village of Maalaea.  Enjoy a long walk or run, passing only ONE building on your way.
Note:  beaches in this area can become windy in the afternoon.
The Kamaole beaches of Kihei, or the beaches of Wailea are within a 5-15 minute drive.

Sugar Beach - 3.5 miles of sand!! Sugar Beach
Property Description and Amenities:   Sugar Beach Resort has two large, six story buildings, facing directly to the ocean (oceanfront units).  Each building has a wing running perpendicular to the beach, facing down to the pool area (gardenview units on ground floor and oceanview units on floors 2 through 6).  The oceanfront units are exactly as the photos show; facing directly to the beach and ocean, with unobstructed oceanviews.  There are very few condo properties set this close to the ocean, with such a dramatic view.  Set to the back of the property is a small convenience store, an activity center, and a small sandwich shop.  Sugar Beach is positioned to give guests great beach walks.  Leaving from the property, they will pass only one building (Kealia), and can walk the beach for 3.5 miles, until they reach the village of Maalaea.

The grounds feature swimming pool, hot-tub, children's wading pool, sauna, two tennis courts, and BBQ area with gas grills..

Unit Description and Amenities:  The units are Sugar Beach are clean, comfortable, a suitable "home away from home".  The units are laid out with the living/dining/kitchen area to the front facing the view, and the bedroom to the back (the bedroom has only small windows).  Each unit has a front lanai facing the view, fully equipped kitchen (fridge, stove, D/W, microwave), cable TV, telephone, laundry and central A/C.

Our Opinion:  Although first impression of Sugar Beach can be somewhat disappointing (two large, six story buildings), this will quickly disappear when you enter your unit.  The view will more than make up for the lack of cosmetic appeal.
